The Electric Vehicle Test Center (EVTC) has a long history of working with industry, government and academic partners in the development of Electric Vehicle policies, standards and measurement tools. Our work has taken us all over the globe, and we have seen first hand some of the problems associated with the immense popularity of electric 2- and 3-wheelers (E2/3W), both in terms of safety and regulation, but also in customer satisfaction. As experts in the field we are often called upon to collect and analyze data on electric vehicles, and help solve EV related problems, both in the engineering of the vehicles themselves as well as vehicle related policy
As a Vehicle Test Equipment Manufacturer we have a wide range of Vehicle Test Facilities at our 6 acre facility conveniently located in Penang, Malaysia. These are often used in Standards Generation and conformity testing, as well as general Vehicle R&D. One unique specialty is our ability to test EV Battery Pack Life Cycles to over 1000’s of cycles under a variety of conditions.
